UNIMED General Admission Requirements For All Courses

  • Candidates must have selected Ondo State University of Medical Sciences (UNIMED) as their first-choice institution in the 2025 UTME and score at least 150 to become eligible to apply for admission.
  • Candidates must change to UNIMED if they didn’t do that from the beginning.
  • Candidates must have at least five (5) credit passes in relevant subjects, including English Language and Mathematics in not more than two sittings.
  • Candidates applying for Medicine and Surgery, Dentistry, or Doctor of Physiotherapy must have five credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics, and these must be obtained in one sitting only.
  • Direct Entry candidates should have at least 10 points or higher from their A’level program
  • If using degree to apply z have at least Second Class Lower and if ND, have at least Lower credit
  • 13 points is required for Medicine and Surgery and all other requirements are same as said earlier

How To Calculate UNIMED Aggregate Score

  • Divide your JAMB score by 8
  • Divide your Post UTME score by 2
  • Take your O’level percentage 
  • Add all the resulting values together 
  • The final value is your UNIMED aggregate score.
