- For the Post Higher National Diploma (Post-HND) in Urban and Regional Planning, Mechanical Engineering Technology (Production), Civil Engineering Technology, Electrical Power/Electrical (Machine Option), Building Technology and Polymer Technology, Candidates must possess a minimum of lower Credit in the Higher National Diploma (HND) programme, obtained from the Auchi Polytechnic, Auchi or similar institutions whose courses have earned NBTE Accreditation, or any other equivalent qualification and satisfactory completion of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) Scheme.
- Candidates for any of the Higher National Diploma (HND) courses must possess the National Diploma (ND) of the Polytechnic with a minimum of Lower Credit or an equivalent qualification from other similar institutions whose course have earned NBTE accreditation. In addition, candidates must have satisfied the Auchi Polytechnic Matriculation requirements for the National Diploma Programme and must have at least one year Post National Diploma (ND) Industrial Experience. Evidence of relevant one year Post-ND Industrial Experience and academic transcripts from the candidate’s Institution must be submitted along with the allocation for Higher National Diploma admission. Where the applicant’s qualification falls short of Lower Credit, he/she should have at least (2) years Industrial Experience. In Office Technology and Management Department, preference will be given to candidates with good grades in skill subjects of Shorthand, Typewriting and Computer Science Technology.
