How To Calculate AFIT Aggregate Score

The AFIT aggregate score calculation follows a pattern like this:

  • UTME score contributes 50%
  • Post-UTME score (if used) contributes 30%, and
  • O’Level points contributes 20%

Further Explanation:

Your JAMB score will be divided by 8 to give the 50% contribution while your Post UTME score automatically contributes 30% and your O’level result provides the remaining 20%.

Example;

Zaid has a JAMB score of 180 and a Post UTME score of 25, then his O’level score is 15.

Ta calculate Zaid’s AFIT aggregate score goes this:

  • 180/8 = 22.5

Now we add all the remaining values to 22.5 to give:

22.5 + 25 + 15 = 62.5

This means that Zaid’s AFIT aggregate score is 62.5%.

AFIT Post UTME Requirements and Eligibility

Here’s a quick overview of the most important requirements one should meet to qualify for the Air Force Institute of Technology (AFIT) Post UTME Form:

  1. Select AFIT as your first choice of Institution during JAMB registration or make a change of institution to AFIT of you selected a different school earlier.
